In the spring of 2003, “The Echo Never Fades” debuted at the Norris Center on the campus of St. Charles East High School. The STCE Wind Ensemble was the first orchestra to play the amazing piece of music, so skillfully composed by David R. Gillingham, Professor of Music at Central Michigan University. James Kull, Director of Music at STCE, commissioned the work in honor of Tyler, to be played by Tyler’s fellow musicians as a World Premiere.

Since then “The Echo Never Fades” has been performed by numerous orchestras across the world, including The Cole Conservatory Symphonic Band.
